When this place first opened it had a lot of food & management kinks to work out but much potential. Hot, not too clean, air headed service, soggy fries but outstanding crab dip. It has been open about a year now (roughly). My husband and I have given it several chances and have never been too terribly disappointed with the food...until last night. We both got very ill from the crab dip or the remoulade (the only things shared). I mean, ugh!! Seriously!! Neither of us had eaten all day so we know it was because of their food that we were sick. Not only did we get sick, service still sucks, the fries were gross and soggy (it's fries, how hard can it be, really!!??) my mahi was so over cooked, and the crab dip tasted completely different than when we first tried it a year ago. Perhaps because it was rancid, not sure. Never again for food but the outdoor area is nice and lively for that beach vibe, live music in the summer scene. They have a lot of beer options too. Certainly do not go in the summer expecting a cool break from the oppressive Florida heat...not sure they even run the air and all windows/doors stay open. Also, not the best place for non smokers.

Dining at Paradise Cove Bar and Grill isn't my idea of paradise! The abuse splattered all over supposedly "grilled skewers of scallops" was disgusting, it tasted like Frank's Sweet Chili Sauce. I wish non chain restaurants would give more than a passing thought to their menu descriptions because I could have easily ordered the skewered sans sauce had it been in the description. The "remoulade" sauce served on side was mayonnaise with Old Bay Seasoning, not even a passing acquaintance a true remoulade sauce. The garlic mash was in the pristine shape made from using a green handled kitchen portion scoop. All entrees came with vegetables which this particular night were half moon slices of zucchini and yellow squash with an ocassional red pepper tossed in, unfortunately for the squash and me they were drowned in the fake butter flavor of Whirl. While waiting for my meal I saw the bartender come from behind the bar carrying a martini glass and a high ball glass by hand, no tray, seriously... which I found funny considering the big poster proclaiming that "good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good so tip your bartender". If you're looking for dining paradise give this place a pass.

Food is good / Crab cakes are awesome. Fair price cheaper than other places. Local brewery beer served. Check it out.

Yummy crab cakes, cheap draft beer ($2.50-3.50)!

Glad to try another new restaurant in Cocoa Beach! Elaine, our waitress, recommended the ribs and being a grill snob, I was reluctant. They were excellent. Ruth had a Mahi sandwich and it was "good". Service was great and it was a beautiful day for lunch Al fresco.

The good: casual, laid back atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. The bad: The food unfortunately was meh. I had the blackened catfish sandwich which was ok but my husband ordered the jumbo shrimp platter (for $16) and it was literally a barren looking plate with 8 very small shrimp with a side of mashed potatoes that had a very strange flavor.... Completely inedible and way overpriced. Based on other reviews we ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were so dry they literally crumbled apart. Dinner was $60 for mine, my husbands and my child's kid plate of chicken strips and we left hungry.

We are very happy with this restaurant. We have visited several times since March. The bartenders are very personable. The food is awesome. We especially the GTA salad and the wings!

Went in for lunch on Mother's Day and ended up leaving to eat somewhere else. Instantly didn't feel comfortable from the decor. The back room we were seated in was dirty and had folding tables and chairs in the center part. The booths along the wall had peeling paint on the table tops. The strap of the high chair we were brought was cut through and the clip tied on. The staff did bring a different one. My husbands guiness was not properly poured and was close to room temperature. My husband and I attempted to order the grouper sandwich after waiting a good 15 minutes in an almost dead dining room. We were told they were out of grouper and was mahi ok. We said yes. When the waitress came back to inform us they were out of all fish we decided to pay for our barely drank drinks and leave. Owner did comp my diet coke. With how dirty the dinning room looked and the improper refrigeration of the beer kegs, I was nervous with what else was dirty and not kept at proper temps. That being said, I obviously don't know how the food is, but will not be going back to find out.

Thought we'd try it out as we had a coupon. I had the ribs and baked potato. Ribs were tender and flavorful, but I think they microwave the potato, so technically it's not baked. The coleslaw is awesome. It's a vinegar based one. A nice refreshing change. The burgers are huge! Cheese was fifty cents extra. The fries are seasoned nicely. The side salad is very large and was fresh. The interior in the back was a bit dingy. They had folding chairs at one of the tables and the booths are old and the seats are lumpy. I think they are slowly remodeling. The outdoor bar area looked nice but I don't like to eat outdoors. I'd go back, but only if I had another coupon.

Second time there in two weeks. Stopped in for lunch (3/21/15). Nicely greeted by staff. Chose to eat at the indoor bar. The indoor dining area appears to have just been remodeled...look great! April 29, 2015 Things have changed. Not as friendly or attentive. Staff busy doing shots or socializing. Food still good but.....Maybe go back in the future.....maybe not.

Looks can be deceiving at this restaurant. Although new, their set up isn't ideal. The menu items were kind of random, but we ordered the Irish nachos, the grouper sandwich and the bibb burger and it was all delicious. Prices are very affordable for what they are offering and the wait staff are very friendly as well. Good selection of liquors and beer. Would go again.

Good fish tacos, shrimp wrap and fries for Sunday lunch. Friendly service. Definitely a sports bar during game time.

Tne new owners are hitting it out of the park! The ribs on Thursday's are un-be-liev-able!!! The no mayo slaw is superb. Service is outstanding. My new favorite place!

Great food! Above and beyond service that was absolutely exceptional! It was kind of away from the main strip but it is definitely a must-do! If your ever in the area you need to check it out! If you want excellent food with great people that offer great service come here!

Marginal at best. My pork cutlet sandwich was OK. My mom loved her burger, but my wife's baked potato was over cooked, discolored and inedible. Decor doesn't seem finished even though they're less than a week from a grand reopening. Would like to come back to try the seafood...

Not very good. I came here the other day for a quick lunch and it took 40 minutes for the meal to arrive.

We stopped in for a drink and sat outside. The tables and chairs were all filthy and very rundown. It is very smoky outside even with the fans going. There was a group at the end of the bar that were swearing loudly that were obviously friends with the staff. I saw a table of tourists that were very uncomfortable with it. We watched 2 other groups walk in and sit down and then get up and walk back out. We didn't eat or go inside, I saw all I needed to see and we left. If they decide to clean and do something about the regulars I would consider it again.

This is a great casual establishment with good food @ great prices. An excellent example of what Florida casual restaurant/bar's should be & what I'm sure a tourist would expect to experience. Of late I've been going on Sundays for the NFL Sunday games. They have multiple screens both indoors & out. When outside you also have the choice of covered seating or open air with a beach theme. The crowd continues to be diverse, locals/tourists/young & older with all coming together to make this a just plain fun place to be. Service by ERIC & Newcomer Karen is excellent, the food choices are also diverse from appetizers to lobster Platters @ excellent prices I might add. I'll continue to visit as this place is easy to feel at home at. If you're in the area I would highly recommend you visit them for the food, fun or people. I don't think you'll be disappointed. NOTE...the picture has the word "bad" alongside...beach theme, that was a word prediction error by my s4 phone & should be disregarded

Probably the best barbecue I have ever had! The service was fantastic! We walked in with a group of 10ish people and they offered just to do family style with a bunch of wings, ribs, fries, and coleslaw. All for a great price. It's great food at a great price with lots if fantastic staff!

Corn on the cob was cold when served. Tasted like frozen corn that had been boiled for too long. Drinks tasted like they were watered down. Only ordered one. None of the food was hot when it arrived at the table. Way overpriced for the quality of food. Won't go back.....

We found this place from reading reviews! Please do NOT go by the reviews before, this place is under new ownership and it's worth a try!! We had the crab cakes and the peel and eat shrimp, the crab cakes were the best we'd had in a long time!! They have live music, an outdoor bar, nightly specials and an ok happy hour!! The service was GREAT and they made you feel like a regular! Give it another try...it's casual and comfortable!! We're going to try the baby back ribs next time, they say they're the best!! And they will be ready for football season too!!!

I was a bit surprised that this was an open air dining establishment. There was a fan near my table that one of my friends checked on, and while it was on high, it was not running. There was enough of a breeze that I was not dripping with sweat by the end of the meal. I had the French Dip, which was a good portion for lunch & for $10. My waitress was Becky and she was fun and attentive without always stopping by the table. I am likely to go back and try some other menu items.

We went in for brunch and were served pretty quickly. I ended up getting a creamy crab bisque, and my girlfriend got a fish sandwich. There were not many people in, due to the time, but it seemed like the brunch buffet was good.

Every time I have driven by this place it has been packed. Saw the menu online and had a good selection. On the way back from the beach, noticed that it was pretty empty, so figured we would give it a shot. Sat inside. Was greeted by the bartender immediately and the waitress shortly after. Ordered the ahi tuna, clams in garlic wine sauce & wet wings. Arrived during happy hour where every drink gets $1 off. The ahi tuna was perfect. Came with a little scoop of seaweed salad, very good. The clams came with 3 perfect little rolls that were so light and fluffy and even better when dipped into the garlic wine sauce. As for the wings, they were a bit dry and overfried. Sauce was good, but the wings weren't "wet" as described. They were just okay. Would definitely return and try a few of the other items. Waitress was very attentive.

Pretty good place to grab a sandwich. Sat outside which was on a busy road but was otherwise nice. Food was very good and fair prices. Service was ok, a little slow but otherwise good. In the end I'd say eat here.

Paradise Cove - A Fun Laid-Back Place to Meet Friends for Drinks or a Meal This was my second visit to Paradise Cove recently for lunch. Two months ago, I visited the restaurant with a party of five diners. We all had a satisfying meal. Service and food were good. When I saw a Deal Chicken Lunch voucher recently, I decided to take advantage of it. This time there were four of us for lunch. We were happy to see this restaurant open after the property was vacant for a year and was beginning to look shabby and worn. On this visit, a server escorted us to a comfortable booth toward the front of the restaurant near the bar area and handed us our menus. Soon our beverage orders arrived as we perused the entree offerings. Although not at all busy, there were several patrons sitting at tables and booths inside and a few customers at the outside bar. Our server patiently waited until our fourth diner arrived before approaching us for our order. She was attentive to our needs throughout the meal, refilling our glasses as needed. I ordered the Quesadilla with Cheddar Cheese, $5 - certainly a reasonable price for a lunch entrée. There were four very large sections served with Shredded Lettuce, Diced Tomato, Sour Cream and Salsa on the side. You can also order it with Pulled Chicken, Steak 'n Cheese or Imperial Crab. I requested Guacamole for .50 extra but did not receive it nor charged for it - not a big omission. One of my dining companions ordered the Maryland Crab Cake Sandwich, $12. He ordered that on our previous visit and enjoyed it. This time was no exception, he said. Our server said that this was a specialty of the house and for good reason, he thought, too. Our third diner had the Grouper Sandwich, $10 and she enjoyed it. Our fourth diner ordered the Philly Cheesecake Sandwich, $10. It was shaved Rib Eye Steak served on a hoagie roll. He thought that it was very dry and had to add ketchup to moisten it. He would probably not order it again unless he could get some au jus with it. (Perhaps next time he might consider ordering the French Dip Sandwich, which does come with au jus.) Sandwiches arrive on Kaiser Rolls with Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, French Fries and a unique Cole Slaw. The Cole Slaw was a big hit with everyone in our party since there was no mayonnaise in it. Paradise Cove Bar & Grill is famous for their Steaks and Maryland Style Cuisine - especially the above mentioned Cab Cakes plus Steamed Blue Crabs and Oysters. Owner James Stadler knows a thing or two about Maryland cuisine as he was born and raised in Maryland and worked in a Seafood restaurant there as a kid. He now lives only a few blocks away. Check the Website for specials on drinks and wings. There is live entertainment every night of the week. Come for Karaoke on Tues - Thursdays. Brian Blatz plays on the deck on Friday & Saturdays. Mondays is Texas Hold'em night. The laid-back atmosphere makes Paradise Cove is a great restaurant to watch Football games. There are several TV screens over the bar area. Enjoy one of their 10 Signature Drinks or your favorite libation. With twenty beers on tap, I am sure that you find something to your liking. What I think that is neat about this restaurant is the outdoor bar and dining area. It is in a convenient location for beachgoers to stop in for a cold drink, lunch or dinner on their way home to Orlando. I still have one more Deal Chicken Lunch Voucher to use so I will return soon for another visit. If you are looking for a casual laid-back place where you will not have to worry about sand on your feet, this is the place for you. You can also reach the restaurant by boat. There is plenty of parking outside if you arrive by car. Stick to the seafood, especially the Crab Cakes, burgers sand steaks and you will enjoy your visit.

Went here for dinner and drinks a couple of days before Christmas while I was in town visiting my family and had fantastic food and a great time! Plenty of restaurants have existed in this spot but this is, by far, my favorite. We had the Crab dip which came out in a warm bread bowl, surrounded by toasted chunks of bread and it was phenomenal. A basket of complimentary hush puppies which were crispy and perfectly sided with a maple/butter sauce. My stepmother had the glazed salmon special which came with delicious steamed veggies, spiced with a secret dash of something that brought out their flavors and the salmon was expertly cooked and delicious. I had a hamburger that was one of the best I have eaten.. angus beef, cooked to perfection, adorned with onion petals and a real new york deli pickle chunk. The chef came out to visit and chat with us several times and clearly has a passion for delicious cooking and authentic Maryland style crab. Definitely give this place a try!
